From New York to the world

The story of Bulova begins in 1875, when Czech-American watchmaker Joseph Bulova opened his small workshop on Maiden Lane in New York. His vision was clear: to combine American innovation with Swiss craftsmanship. It wasn’t long before Bulova became one of the most respected watch brands in the United States – known for its quality, precision and bold design.

Technological breakthroughs that changed the ancient world

Bulova was always one step ahead.
As early as the 1920s, they built their own factory in Switzerland to ensure millimetre precision. But the real breakthrough came in 1960 with the Accutron – the world’s first electronic watch using tuning fork technology. It vibrated 360 times per second and was ten times more accurate than mechanical movements – an innovation that changed the entire industry.

Accutrons were even used in NASA's space program, and Bulova technology was featured in the instrument panel of several Apollo missions. A Bulova chronograph was even worn by astronaut David Scott on the moon in 1971.

Bulova in the modern era – precision meets design

Today, Bulova continues to combine innovation with style.
Collections like Precisionist, Marine Star and Classic Automatic show how the brand combines American engineering with European elegance.

– The Precisionist series has a unique quartz system that vibrates 8 times faster than standard, providing near-perfect precision.
– Marine Star offers sporty luxury with a chronograph and water resistance up to 200 meters.
– The Classic series offers sophisticated models in stainless steel and gold tones – perfect for both men and women.

A legacy of style and innovation

Bulova stands for more than just technology. The brand is a symbol of American success and craftsmanship – a reminder that precision and design can go hand in hand.
Every model, from the classic retro-inspired watches to the modern Automatic movements, demonstrates Bulova's passion for perfection.
