General terms and conditions

1. General

These general terms and conditions apply when you, as a consumer, place an order via Kronura.se. The agreement is entered into between you and Kronura. By placing an order on our website, you agree to our terms and conditions. Kronura complies with Swedish law, including the Consumer Sales Act and the Distance Contracts Act. To make a purchase, you must be of legal age (18 years) or have parental consent.

 

2. Order

When you place an order on Kronura.se, you confirm the purchase by completing the payment at checkout. An order confirmation will automatically be sent to the email address you provided. The agreement between you as a customer and Kronura is only binding once you have received this order confirmation.

Once your order has been packed and shipped from our warehouse, another email will be sent with delivery information and a tracking number. This allows you to track your delivery all the way to you. We reserve the right to cancel an order in the event of obvious errors, for example, incorrect pricing, technical problems, or if a product is out of stock and can no longer be delivered. If this occurs, we will contact you as soon as possible and refund any advance payment within 5 days.

 

3. Prices and payment

All prices on Kronura.se are stated in Swedish kronor (SEK) and include VAT and other charges. Any shipping costs are always shown before you complete the purchase. We reserve the right to correct any inaccuracies in price information and to adjust prices if necessary.

Payment is made via Klarna, card payment (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro), Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Through Klarna, you can choose to pay directly, pay later, or pay in installments, according to Klarna's terms and conditions. For card payments and Swish, the amount is debited at the time of purchase.

 

4. Delivery and shipping

We primarily ship our consignments with PostNord, but you also have the option to choose DB Schenker as an alternative at checkout. Delivery usually takes place to the nearest pick-up point, but home delivery may be offered depending on the shipping option. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a separate delivery confirmation via email with tracking information, allowing you to track your package all the way.

Our stated delivery times are approximate and may vary depending on product availability, the shipping company's handling, and external circumstances beyond our control, such as delays with the carrier or unforeseen delivery problems. We always strive to deliver within the timeframe stated on the product page but reserve the right for deviations. In the event of any delays, we will keep you updated and inform you of the new estimated delivery time.

 

4.1 Unclaimed packages

If you, as a customer, do not collect your package within the time specified by the shipping company, the shipment will automatically be returned to us. Once we have received the returned package, we will contact you to arrange a new delivery attempt. For this handling, we reserve the right to charge an administrative fee of SEK 100 as a symbolic cost for return shipping, handling, and re-dispatch of the package.

 

4.2 Home delivery

For home delivery, we use PostNord as standard. Delivery is made to your specified address and primarily to your own mailbox. As a customer, you are responsible for ensuring that the mailbox is in good condition, correctly marked, and easily accessible for delivery. If the shipment does not fit in your mailbox, it will automatically be forwarded to the nearest pick-up point the following day. You will then receive a notification via SMS, email, or letter from PostNord with information on where and when you can pick up your package. Any problems arising due to the condition of the mailbox or incorrect marking are outside our responsibility and should be reported directly to PostNord. Our responsibility ceases when the consignment has been delivered according to the shipping company's delivery terms.

 

5. Right of withdrawal, open purchase and returns

Your statutory right of withdrawal – 14 days. As a consumer, according to the Act (2005:59) on distance contracts and off-premises contracts, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days, calculated from the day after you received the item, without stating any reason. Within the right of withdrawal, you may examine and try on the watch in the same way you could have done in a physical store, and you can cancel the purchase even if the packaging has been opened. You are only responsible for any depreciation in value if the watch has been handled more than necessary to ascertain its characteristics and function.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you can easily use the function Cancel the contract here via your customer account or order status page. You can also contact us at support@kronura.se, use our contact form, or the Swedish Consumer Agency's standardized withdrawal form. You are responsible for the return shipping cost of SEK 100, which will be deducted from the refund. In the event of a right of withdrawal, we will refund the amount no later than 14 days after we receive your notification. However, we may withhold the refund until the watch has been returned to us.

30-day open purchase – our voluntary offer. In addition to your statutory right of withdrawal, we offer a 30-day open purchase period, calculated from the day you received your order. Open purchase is an addition to the law and does not limit your right of withdrawal above. For a return under open purchase to be approved, the watch must be unused and in the same condition as upon delivery, with all tags, seals, and protective plastic intact, and complete with original packaging, certificate, and accessories. For returns under open purchase, an additional SEK 100 will be charged for return shipping and handling, which will be deducted from the refund.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase, normally within 2–4 business days after we have received and inspected the return. Full terms and conditions can be found in our return and refund policy.

 

6. Complaints & Warranty

All products sold via Kronura are covered by Swedish consumer law, which means that you as a customer have the right to complain about an item within three years from the delivery date if it has an original defect. In addition to this, Kronura always provides a 2-year warranty on all watches. The warranty covers manufacturing defects in the movement, hands, and dial. You as a customer are obliged to notify us within a reasonable time after the defect has been discovered. We recommend that complaints be made immediately when the defect occurs or at the latest within two months of you noticing it. Contact our customer service at support@kronura.se with your order number, a description of the defect, and preferably pictures of the product. In the event of an approved complaint, Kronura will cover the return shipping and rectify the defect through repair, replacement with a new product, or a refund.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, normal wear and tear, negligence, improper use, battery replacements, water or moisture damage to watches not classified as waterproof, or other external factors. It also does not apply to scratches on the glass, case, or strap. If the complaint is not approved, and the defect is not covered by warranty or consumer law, the customer may be charged for investigation costs and return shipping.

 

6.1 Warranty cases

Kronura's warranty is valid for 2 years from the date of purchase and covers manufacturing defects in the watch itself. The warranty means that the product, upon approved assessment, will be repaired free of charge or replaced with a new equivalent item.

The warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in the movement, hands, and dial
  • Defects arising from faulty materials or production flaws
  • Rectification of defects that prevent the watch's normal function within the warranty period

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by accidents, impacts, or shocks
  • Normal wear and tear on the case, strap, clasp, or coating
  • Scratches or cracks on the glass and case
  • Water or moisture damage to watches not classified as waterproof
  • Battery replacements, battery life, or defects arising from discharged batteries
  • Damage caused by improper use, negligence, or lack of care
  • Repairs performed by anyone other than an authorized service partner

In the event of a warranty claim, you as a customer should always contact our customer service before sending in the item. You will need to provide the order number, a description of the defect, and preferably attach images. We will cover the return shipping for approved warranty claims. If the defect is not covered by warranty or consumer law, we may charge a fee for investigation and return shipping.

 

7. Personal data (GDPR)

When you shop with Kronura, we process personal data that you provide in connection with the order. This may include name, address, phone number, email address, and payment and delivery information. The purpose of the processing is to handle and deliver your order, provide customer support, and fulfill our legal obligations, such as accounting.

We also use personal data to improve our service, send order confirmations, delivery notifications, and in some cases newsletters or marketing mailings if you have consented to this. The data is only shared with our partners to the extent required to complete the order, such as payment service providers, transport companies, and IT systems. You always have the right to request access to, rectification, or erasure of your personal data. You can also object to processing for direct marketing. 7.1 Cookies

Kronura.se uses cookies to improve the user experience, analyze traffic, and customize content and offers. A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit our website. We use both session cookies and persistent cookies. Some cookies are necessary for the website to function correctly, while others are used for statistics and marketing. By using our website, you consent to the use of cookies in accordance with our cookie policy. You can choose to block or delete cookies at any time via your browser settings, but please note that some website functions may then cease to work.

 

8. Changes to terms and conditions

Kronura reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Changes apply from the date they are published on Kronura.se. The version applicable to your purchase is always the one published at the time of the order. We recommend that you regularly visit the page to stay updated on any changes.

All watches sold via Kronura are guaranteed authentic and come with a valid certificate of authenticity, a 2-year warranty, and official original packaging. We also offer free shipping within Sweden and the option for gift wrapping.
