The black ana-digi front gets its energy from yellow accents and a silver-colored bezel. The color contrast gives the DC version a sharper, more mechanical expression within the ECB-40 family. Four lugs – two above and two below the case – recreate the principle behind a Formula 1 car's suspension. A large LCD field and prominent indices organize information for quick reading with a clear racing character.

Materials & fit

The case measures 52.4 × 48 × 12.7 mm and is made of carbon fiber-reinforced resin, which Casio states is light and strong. Around the front is a wide bezel of finely brushed stainless steel, followed by mineral glass. The black steel bracelet has an ion-plated finish and a one-touch triple-fold clasp. The total weight is 128 grams, while the specified wrist range is 150 to 205 mm.
