The extra-thick subdial display is the detail that gives the front its clearest depth and distinguishes the EFV-550P from more flat chronographs. The black dial, the black bezel with a second scale, and the three subdials create an instrument-like layout with a strong motorsport character. The silver-colored case frames the dark front, while the resin strap pushes the look further towards sport than dress. The marked indices and wide hands stand out clearly against the dark background. The format is deliberately large and visually powerful.
Materials & fit
The round case measures 53 mm from lug to lug, 47 mm in diameter, and 12.1 mm in height. The case and bezel are made of stainless steel, and mineral glass covers the dial. The black strap is made of resin. The watch weighs 96 grams. The resin strap breaks up the metal construction and follows Casio's stated sporty direction for the model.
