An all-black G-STEEL with a minimalist bezel, black dial, and the brick pattern that pays homage to the first G-SHOCK model. The logo-free bezel allows the metal's shape and finish to take center stage, while three hands, two sub-dials, and a separate date window keep information clearly divided. Black ion plating covers the case back, buttons, crown, clasp, and screws. The GST-B1000BD-1AER is built with a shock-resistant structure and Carbon Core Guard.

Materials & fit

The case measures 46.9 × 44.2 mm and is 11.6 mm thick. It weighs 118 grams. A stainless steel bezel protects against impacts, while the bio-based carbon fiber-reinforced resin case protects the module. Mineral glass covers the dial and the crown is screw-locked. The solid stainless steel bracelet features both brushed and mirror-polished surfaces as well as black ion plating. A one-handed triple-fold clasp secures the bracelet, which is specified for wrist sizes between 150 and 205 mm.

Highlights

• Tough Solar is charged by light and has a specified operating time of approximately five months without further light exposure. With power-saving mode activated, it is rated for up to 18 months in darkness after a full charge.
• Bluetooth connects the watch to CASIO WATCHES for automatic time adjustment, simplified settings, time and location logging, and phone finding.
• The stopwatch measures elapsed time in one-second increments for up to approximately 30 minutes. The countdown timer can be set between one and 30 minutes.
• The shock resistance and 20-bar water resistance are designed for demanding use, including swimming and shallow diving.
