Black resin and an intensely red LCD display give the GA-700BBR-1A a significantly more aggressive look than a regular digital sports watch. The large case measures 53.4 mm in width and blends analogue hands with digital information for a distinctly technical dial. The red display is the model's main distinguishing feature, providing a strong contrast to the black case, while the Super Illuminator helps when the light fades.

Despite the robust case and a thickness of 18.5 mm, the GA-700BBR-1A weighs only 75 grams. The resin material keeps the weight down, and the strap easily conforms to the wrist during active use. The fit can be adjusted for wrists between approximately 145 and 215 mm.
