Casio Timeless W-738H-3AVEF
Product Information
This is the watch
The square display is large and designed for quick reading, with the time, date, and day of the week gathered in the same digital field. The case and strap are dark green, while the black display area and the clearly shaped buttons give the model its functional character. The start and vibration buttons stand out due to their shape and accent color. The central light button is positioned to be pressed even when the user is in motion.
Materials & fit
The resin case measures 47 mm in length, 42.8 mm in width, and 13.5 mm in height. The watch weighs 43 grams and features a resin strap for wrists between 145 and 215 mm. Shorter distances between the strap holes allow for smaller adjustment increments, a choice Casio made so that vibration signals can be felt more clearly. The display is protected by plastic glass, referred to as Plexiglas in Kronura's material field.
Highlights
- The vibration signal can be used for the daily alarm, the hourly signal, the timer end signal, and the stopwatch's automatic start countdown.
- The digital stopwatch measures hundredths of a second for up to 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59.99 seconds, with elapsed time, split time, and two finish times.
- The countdown timer can be set between one second and 24 hours and measures in tenths of a second.
- The water resistance is 10 ATM, a level which, according to Kronura's standard explanation, allows for swimming.
Good to know
- The CR2032 battery has a stated lifespan of approximately ten years.
- The amber LED light has an afterglow for reading in low light.
- Dual time shows a second time zone, while the 12- or 24-hour format can be selected separately.
- The fully automatic calendar is valid until 2099, and the button operation tone can be turned on or off.
