The WINDFLOW form follows the path of air along a high-speed formula car, giving the ECB-2200CB-2AEF a forward-leaning silhouette. The dial features multiple shades of blue, metallic indices, and raised components in a clearly instrument-inspired layout. The ana-digi format allows the analog hands to display the main time while the digital section gathers supplementary information. The result is a motorsport chronograph where color, depth, and functional graphics drive the expression.

Materials & fit

The case measures 47.6 × 48.2 mm and has a height of 11.9 mm. The case uses resin reinforced with indigo blue carbon fiber; this model series marked the debut of indigo carbon in Edifice. Stainless steel is used for the blue ion-plated bezel and the bracelet, which is secured with a one-touch triple-fold clasp. The front is covered by mineral glass. The total weight with the steel bracelet is 126 grams.

Highlights

• Energy is harvested via Tough Solar from both daylight and artificial lighting. After full charge, seven months of normal operation are indicated, or 18 months with the power-saving mode active.
• Pairing with CASIO WATCHES enables automatic time correction, function settings, and selection from a list of approximately 300 world time cities.
• The stopwatch operates with hundredths of a second during the first hour and continues for up to 24 hours; 200 lap records can be sent to the mobile phone.
• The 10 ATM rating, or 100 meters, allows for swimming.

• Can the hands obscure the display? The hand shift temporarily moves them for clear reading of the digital information.

• How accurately does the watch run independently? Without mobile time correction, the specified deviation is ±15 seconds per month.
