An all-black ana-digi model that interprets the 2100 series design language with restrained contrast and controlled sheen. The matte black dial features a fine texture that reduces reflections, while slimmer hour and minute hands provide more space for the digital display. Vapor-deposited hour markers and silver accents in the inset dials add depth. The area around the outer edge of the crystal also features a vapor-deposited finish.

Materials & fit

The case measures 49.3 × 44.4 mm and is 11.8 mm thick. The weight is 72 grams. The construction consists of resin and stainless steel, with a metal bezel featuring a black ion-plated finish. Mineral glass protects the dial. The black strap is made of bio-based resin and is specified for wrist sizes between 145 and 215 mm. The choice of materials preserves the shock resistance of the G-SHOCK construction, while the metal bezel gives the model its muted sheen.

• How does the lighting work? A white Super Illuminator LED illuminates the dial and a separate LED illuminates the display. Both have afterglow and a selectable illumination duration of 1.5 or 3 seconds.
• Can the hands obscure the display? Hand shift temporarily moves them aside so that the display content can be read without obstruction.
• How long do the batteries last? The two SR726W batteries have an estimated life of approximately three years. The accuracy is rated at ±15 seconds per month.
