The blue, patterned dial is built around three sub-dials, an angled date window, and an inner ring with city codes. A blue tachymeter scale runs around the dial, enhancing the model's sporty chronograph character. The baton indices and central hands feature luminous sections for readability in low light. The AT8396-59L belongs to Citizen's Radio Controlled series and uses a fully analog display.

Materials & fit

The case and bracelet are crafted from Super Titanium with a TiC finish. The case measures 40.5 mm in diameter and 10.4 mm in height, while a flat sapphire crystal protects the dial. The solid link bracelet is finished with a push-button deployment clasp. Citizen describes Super Titanium as a lightweight and scratch-resistant material, used here for both the case and bracelet.
